Synk AI client portal
Last updated: August 25, 2026
The Synk AI client portal is a password-protected workspace at app.synkai.hu, used by the clients and the team of Synk AI. This page describes what the portal does, and explains transparently which Google permissions it requests, why each one is needed, and how a user can revoke them at any time.
1. Who uses it
- Our clients: they follow campaign results, approve ad creatives, manage their own leads, sign contracts and pay invoices here.
- The Synk AI team: daily work, task management, creative production and client communication run in the portal.
The portal is not a public service: there is no self-service sign-up, access is granted by Synk AI.
2. What the portal does
- Reports: weekly and monthly results of the advertising campaigns.
- Creative approval: reviewing and approving ad images, videos and copy before launch.
- CRM: keeping track of leads, their status, tasks and notes.
- Calendar and booking: a public booking page where the invitee picks from genuinely free slots, and the confirmed booking is written into the calendar.
- Contracts and payments: electronic signature and online payment.
- Messages and files: direct communication with the team, sharing assets.
3. Why the portal requests Google access
Connecting a Google Account is used for the calendar and booking feature only. Connecting is voluntary, it is never a condition of using the portal, and it can be revoked at any time. This is what each requested permission is used for:
| Google OAuth scope | Why the product needs it |
|---|---|
| Calendar events https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events | The booking page reads the start and end times of existing events to compute when the host is genuinely free, and writes the confirmed booking into the calendar as an event, inviting the other party. Without it the booking page would offer conflicting slots. |
| Sending email https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send | Booking confirmations and reminders are sent from the address of the host, so the invitee can reply to a real person. This scope grants no read access of any kind. |
| Email address https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email | Displaying which account is connected on the settings screen, so the user can verify the connection. |
What we never touch
- We never read, search, modify or delete the email of the user.
- We never read the content, description or attendees of calendar events, only start and end times.
- We never create, delete or share calendars.
- Google user data is never shared with third parties, never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train artificial intelligence models.
4. Storage and how to disconnect
Tokens issued by Google are stored encrypted at rest in our database in the European Union (Supabase, Paris) and are used only for the operations above. A user can disconnect at any time in the portal, under the Calendar menu, on the Settings tab, using the Disconnect button: the tokens are deleted immediately and revoked at Google. The same can be done from the Google Account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
